1) State the song you have chosen for your preliminary exercise.
21 Gracie Abrams- logo may be like a small star or a crescent moon

2) Choose at least three music videos similar to your concept and watch a clip or more from each. Make bullet-point notes on everything you watch, commenting on camerawork, editing and mise-en-scene.
Gracie Abrams Risk- casual clothing, performance is just lip syncing, looks natural, simple artist logo. Editing speeds up to mirror her state of mind

3) Write a short music video treatment for your extract (this is basically a script for your music video). You can find an example of a treatment here. If you are making your real coursework then feel free to use the treatment from your summer project.
The music video for "21" by Gracie Abrams, reimagined by ΝΑΣΡΑ, captures the essence of indie pop through a nostalgic lens. Her artistic identity relies heavily on her uniqueness and her performing in the indie pop genre adds to that., Also, her music has a narrative focus using relatable experiences and her visual style ties it together with warm colours and candid illustrations. I plan to show the bond between two people, then their falling out and distancing, then the self reflection. I will then layer the video with illustrations.

4) Write a shot list containing EVERY shot you plan to film AND additional shots to create flexibility when editing (in a music video you will find you need FAR more shots than you think, particularly close-ups). These additional shots can be close-ups, alternative angles or something more creative. I advise using a simple table on Microsoft Word/Google Docs to set out your shot list - you can find an example here (this is from narrative filmmaking but the same format can be used for any video project).

5) Plan your mise-en-scene: what iconography are you including to ensure your audience understands the genre and style of your artist? Plan your settings, costume, make-up, props and lighting.

6) Plan a shooting schedule that will ensure everything is filmed by the deadline. Include when, where, who is required, planned equipment and any other aspects you need to arrange. 
half of the video will be filmed on Monday and the other half will be edited on Tuesday. Equipment- maybe a guitar. I will be my own artist and Tharnika will be a supporting actor

Cinematography analytical task

1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence.  Highlight  your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons.  Establishing shot was the first shot to show the laboratory and where the scene would take place. The camera was slight shaky to add realism when the scientist is running and was panning to the action. Close ups were used and the scientists face was zoomed in on gradually as the tension built up. Tracking shits were also used to draw the audience in and when the kids are playing D&D the camera is eye level to make the audience feel as if they just walked into the room. 2) How does the camerawork give the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character? The establishing shot shows the audience the scene takes place in a laboratory.. The close ups on the kids playing D&D shows that they are fooling around and almost brings a false tension to add  suspense Secondly,

 1) Type up your feedback from your teacher. Minor technical point- resolution of image in places This meets the brief well- good choice of music and the parallel section is perfect.
